About Us

  • Our mission is to create more learning opportunities for underprivileged students in Hong Kong by offering free online lessons.

”The best anti-poverty program is a world class education” - Barack Obama
We believe that every child has the right to a quality ensured education and we aim to provide a platform with more learning opportunities for students from families that could not give extra assistance in studying.

Our Story

What motivated us to start this project was the pandemic situation. Due to the pandemic, education of Hong Kong students have been greatly disrupted with school schedules constantly changing. Students aren’t getting enough attention and the quality of learning that they deserve. For privileged students, parents could hire private tutors and attend extra classes, whereas for the less fortunate children, this was not the case. As online learning became more popular, we came up with the idea to gather volunteer teachers to offer free online classes each week aiming to provide underprivileged students with extra classes and the guidances that they need.
The distinction between our platform and others out there is that we aim to provide free small group classes so that teachers can offer more personal attention to each student. We also strive to offer different varieties of lessons for students to learn more than just the academic subjects that they get in school, such as etiquette, yoga/workout and etc.
