Types of Classes

  • Small Group Class

    Classes typically have 3 - 6 students, allowing teachers to assist students in a more personal level, catering towards each individual’s learning needs.

    This allows students to pose questions and to have small group discussions together. These discussions provide students the opportunity to share ideas or opinions that could be heard in class. Students can motivate each other by helping each other think critically.

  • One-on-One Tutorial Class

    Students get personalised classes and learning materials catered to their needs. Teachers might focus on assisting students on their school work and any topics that students would like to work on that is related to the subject being offered.

    These types of classes really focus on each individual’s learning needs, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and review on school materials that they want to revise on.

  • Group Tutorial Class

    In a group setting, teachers will assist students individually on their school work and any topics the students would like to work on that is related to the subject being offered.

    These types of classes focus on each individual’s learning needs, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and to clarify or review on school materials that they want to revise on.

Subjects

Language Class

Each language class generally focuses on either reading, writing or speaking.

Younger students will enjoy a fun storytelling time follow by discussions during reading classes, whereas older students will read passages, do comprehension work and learn to utilise vocabularies. Additionally, students will learn about grammar, forming sentences, story or essay techniques in our writing classes. Lastly, speaking classes will focus on making conversations and discussions.

Currently, we mostly offer English and Chinese classes. Occasionally, we offer other foreign languages such as Korean.

Etiquette Class

Students will learn the societal customary code of polite behaviours aligned to today’s world in a fun playful way!

The basic manners, greeting people with respect, making friends, positive body language, eye contact and etc. will be taught in classes.

Through these classes, not only will students foster confidence in social settings, they can also learn the true purpose of etiquette, which is to show respect and kindness to all living things and everyone around them, including animals and the environment.

Arts & Crafts Class

We have various types of art lessons.
Students will learn about different art cultures and artists in our Visual Arts Creative Workshops. They will also create their own version of art in the style of certain artists and techniques.
In crafts workshops, students are given materials to explore and play with.

Arts and crafts activities allow for self-expressions, letting students express their feelings and foster their mental growth and creativity. It also gives them a sense of achievement, allowing them to build confidence.

Dance Workout Class

This class is an exciting, easy-to-follow and fun cardio dance workout! Suitable for all dance and fitness levels. Get the kids and parents to dance with the hottest tunes! It’s more like a party and you won’t even realise you’re working out.

It can burn calories, improve cardio endurance, body coordination, flexibility, increases muscle strength, boosts brain power, and relieves stress!

What you need for class:
- Workout outfit
- Bottle of water

Yoga Stretching Class

This is chill and relaxing class for students wanting to take a break from their busy schedules but still be active. Suitable for all fitness level.

It can help you move better, improve your flexibility, strengthen your posture and most importantly, feel less stiff and tired. Getting your mind and body ready for your next challenges.

What you need for class:
- Workout outfit
- Yoga mat / carpet
- Bottle of water

Mindfulness Class

This class is a mental training practice that teaches students to slow down racing thoughts, let go of negativity, and to calm both their minds and bodies. Students will learn techniques to deal with stress, anxiety and pain. Other than that, mindfulness can also enhance one’s willpower, focus, comprehension and memeory.

Some classes are offered for both students and their families to experience together.
